Obituary of Sadie Cassarino

Sadie A. Cassarino, 96, of Rocky Hill, beloved wife of the late James Cassarino, died Tuesday (August 19, 2014) at the Glastonbury Health Care Center. She was born January 25, 1918, in Hartford, to the late Emanuel and Concetta (Mangiafico) Alderucci. Sadie was a member of the Rip Snorters Square Dance Club in Newington and the Rocky Hill Senior Center and she enjoyed time with her singing buddies. Sadie is survived by her son, Robert J. and his wife, Anne Cassarino of Glastonbury, her daughter, Jean A. Kask of Enfield, her four grandchildren, Elaine, Michael, Lisa, and Lynn, and four great grandchildren, Renée, Steven, Sarah and Mark. Sadie is predeceased by her sisters Nellie Russo, Frances Testa, and brother Salvatore Alderucci. Friends may call Saturday, August 23, from 3p.m. to 5p.m., at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury, with a service to follow immediately at 5p.m., in the funeral home.
