Obituary of Rosanna Verschoyle

Rosanna (Woods) Verschoyle, 91, of East Hartford, formerly of Newington, wife of the late Brendan P. Verschoyle, died Friday August 22, 2014 at Hartford Hospital. Born November 13, 1922 in Dublin, Ireland, daughter of the late Michael and Mary Kate (Murray) Woods, she had lived in Newington many years moving to East Hartford 13 years ago. Prior to her retirement she was an Assistant Credit Manager for Heublein for 27 years. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Iris and Thomas Boshell of Greenville, SC, Kenneth Verschoyle of Torrington, David and Diana Verschoyle of Fairfield, CA and two grandsons, James and Christopher Verschoyle. Funeral service will be Wednesday August 27 at 9:45am from the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury, to Our Lady of Peace Church, East Hartford for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am. Burial will follow in West Meadow Cemetery, Newington. Friends may call at the Funeral home Tuesday August 26 from 5-7pm.
