Obituary of Geraldine Christiana

Geraldine L. (Violette) Christiana, 68, of East Hartford, wife of the late George J. Christiana, died Tuesday September 23, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. Born December 15, 1945 in Hartford, daughter of the late Bernard and Agnes (Monaco) Violette, she was raised in Glastonbury and had lived in East Hartford for the past 50 years. Geraldine was active with the East Hartford Senior Citizen Center. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Michael Christiana of East Hartford, Kevin and Patricia Christiana of Manchester, Jennifer and John Zembrowski of East Hartford, a sister Cathy Butler and her husband George of Manchester, six grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Samantha and Sarah Christiana, Giorgana and Christiana Zembrowski and a great grandson Noah Christiana. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Saturday Sept. 27 from 10am to 11am. A memorial service will follow at 11am.
