Obituary of Travis Lambert

Travis C. Lambert, 19, of South Glastonbury, died Friday, December 23, 2011 at home. Born May 23, 1992 in Hartford beloved son of Christine M. Goodwin and Dana C. Lambert, he had lived in Glastonbury all his life. He was a student in the post graduation program at Glastonbury High School. Travis enjoyed playing video games especially on his Play Station and playing Magic the Gathering trading card game. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He enjoyed history especially about World War 2 and was excited to make his Make a Wish trip to Pearl Harbor. The family would like to thank the high school's Special Education Department program for their support through the years and Nancy Billard at Smith Middle School. Besides his parents he is survived by a sister Alexis M. Lambert of South Glastonbury, his maternal grandparents, Donald and Nancy Goodwin of South Glastonbury, his paternal grandparents, John and Janice Lambert of NH, his uncle and aunt, David and Cari Goodwin of Farmington and his cousin Emily. A memorial service will be celebrated on Tuesday, Dec. 27, at 1:00pm in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 12 noon until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Connecticut Children's Medical Center Foundation, Oncology Unit, 12 Charter Oak Place, Hartford, CT. 06106.
