Obituary of Gil Aguas

Gil S. Aguas, 87, of Glastonbury, beloved husband for 65 years of Antonietta (Dizon) Aguas, died Wednesday November 12, 2014 at home. Born September 1, 1927 in the Philippines, son of the late German and Damiana (Sese) Aguas, he moved to West Hartford in 1965 before moving to Glastonbury 8 years ago. Gil was a Mechanical Designer for Projects, Inc. in Glastonbury for 49 years retiring last year. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Gina and John Dulak of Glastonbury, a son Roland Aguas and a daughter-in-law Maria Aguas of Glastonbury, a brother Max Aguas of East Hartford, his grandchildren; John Gil and Kathleen Dulak of West Milford, NJ, Michelle and Scott Deandrea of San Jose, CA, Kerry Aguas of Charlotte, NC, Kimberly Aguas and Michael Aguas both of Glastonbury a great grandson Joey Dulak and 2 nephews Glen Aguas and Franc Aguas both of East Hartford. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of the PD department at Bloomfield Davita Dialysis and the VNA HealthCare nurses and home health aides for their compassion and care shown to them during Gil's illness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday Nov. 17 at 11am in St. Dunstan Church, 1345 Manchester Rd., Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:30am.
