Obituary of Chengzhang Wang

Dr. Chengzhang (Chester) Wang, 48, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Shufang Fu, died of heart-attack Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Tannersville, Pennsylvania. Born in Hunan province, China, Chester Wang graduated from Beijing University in 1988 with Bachelor degree in physics. He then pursued Ph.D. degree at William-Mary College. After obtaining Ph.D. degree, he spent three years as a postal doctor, during which period he published a number of papers in leading physics journals. Dr. Wang joined Pratt & Whitney in 1998 and had worked in the company's engineering department since then.

He is survived by his wife Shufang Fu, and his sons Jeffrey Wang and Eric Wang.

Wake service will be held at Mulryan Funeral Home (725 Hebron Avenue, Glastonbury, CT 06033) on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Flowers can be sent to the funeral home on Friday. Donation can be made online at:
