Obituary of Jacqueline Allen

Jacqueline (Thompson) Allen, 89, of Cromwell formerly of Glastonbury, wife of the late Fred W. Allen, died Wednesday December 24, 2014 at Pilgrim Manor in Cromwell. Born July 28, 1925 in Hackensack, NJ, daughter of the late Royal W. and Dorothy (Vining) Thompson, she had lived in Glastonbury for 45 years moving to Cromwell 3 years ago. Jackie was a longtime member of the First Church of Christ, Congregational. She is survived by a son Scott T. Allen of Bethlehem, NH, a daughter Susan J. Allen of Manchester, CT and a cousin Mary Jane Dempsey of Green Valley, AZ. A memorial service will be Wednesday January 14 at 10am in the First Church of Christ, Congregational, 2183 Main St., Glastonbury. There are no calling hours.
