Jim and family, your dad was such a wonderful man... His accomplishments were many, his generosity unbounded. He touched so many people in so many positive ways. We are all sorry at Stavens Brothers when notified of the loss of John. He will be missed within the drilling community. Sympathy goes out to his family and friends. All his many years of service to the CT Water Well association is greatly appreciated and will be missed.

My sympathy to the Dufford family, John often told me we were related somehow because of an ancient Daniel Boone connection. John really was iconic in so many ways. Always enjoyed the way he'd take over the G-bury Health Dept for awhile when he came in for permits and such! Rest easy Colonel.

It was my honor and privilege to have known John and spend time with him.....at local CT well drilling functions and at the national convention in Las Vegas.
