Obituary of Linda Baluk

Linda (Ferrando) Baluk, 90, of Glastonbury, wife of the late John Baluk, died Friday Sept. 3, 2010 at the Glastonbury Health Care Center. Born August 15, 1920 in New York City, daughter of the late Frank and Maria (Riva) Ferrando she was a life long resident of Glastonbury. She graduated from the Glastonbury school system and attended hairdressing school. Prior to her retirement she was a Centrex Telephone Supervisor for the State of Connecticut for 35 years. Linda was a lifetime member of the John Tom Hill Community Club. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law Frank and Sandra Baiardi of Manchester and Michael Terragna of New Hampshire, a brother and sister-in-law Reno and Zella Ferrando of Glastonbury, her grandchildren James and Lori Baiardi and Susan Baiardi and three great grandchildren Tyler, Cameron and Brenden. The family would like to thank the staff at Glastonbury Health Care for the excellent care given by all. Funeral service will be Wednesday Sept. 8 at 10am in the Buckingham Congregational Church, 16 Cricket Lane, Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Green Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Tuesday Sept 7 from 4-8pm.
