I am so sad to learn of Steve's death. He fought the good fight, and was so courageous, it boggles the mind. I loved working with Steve at HSB, and will always remember his laughter and his kindness. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Dear Sharlene and Bedard family, I am saddened to hear that Steve has left us but that night a new bright star was born in the heavens and he is making sure that everyone is laughing and having a good time. I'm so glad I was able to spend some time with him last year when he made us "GIRLS" pizzas on a Friday night. I hadn't seen him in many years, yet I was greeted with a great big hug and a thousand-watt smile. We had so many fun times at the bank and the restaurants over the years and so many great memories. I'm sorry I can't be with you on Saturday, but please know that I am thinking of you and saying a prayer for you and Steve. with much love, Judy

May Steve be forever remembered by his family, co-workers, and friends as one who had great courage, an optimistic attitude, even through all he went through, and a sense of humor. I'll truly miss him, but am comforted that the angels are still watching over him, and his family. JoEllen V.

Dear Sharlene and family, I worked with Steve at HSB from 1993-1995. Life in our EIS group was never boring, thanks to him. I remember the many stories of his family. He came in late one day telling of saying goodbye to Paul on the first day at the kindergarten bus stop. Later, Steve told me with a mixture of pride and sadness that his son passed a milestone the day he didn't wave back from the bus window. He was full of charming and philosophical moments like that. He dabbled in so much, and was happy to share everything! He lived life, backed away from nothing, did everything, all with an energy that few others possess. He was a blessing to all of us. With great sadness, Benjamin
