I went to work for a Company in 1997 where Rocco worked. He was a fine gentleman and always had a smile and something friendly to say. After he left to go back to P&W, I often ran into him and he always stopped to chat, ask me how I was doing and was just a great guy to have known the decade or so I knew him. RIP Rocco...

I met Rocco in the early 80s when I was a designer with Pratt working on the PW4000. We Developed a wonderful working relationship all the time I was working at Pratt. I was working at Belcan and Rocco became my boss around 1999. The working relationship developed to a mutual friendship far more than a boss-employee relationship. He was a wonderful boss, and a great engineer, his engineering skills alone will be missed by all that worked with him. He was a fiery engineer who demanded excellent work and lead by example. He was also a fun loving and gentle man, who loved to kid with me and I with him. I will miss him. I am very sad to hear of his passing. Lance Retzloff
