Obituary of Rosemary Potter

Rosemary (Jacomini, Lynch) Potter 68, of North Windham (recently of Lebanon) lifted her spirit up to the Lord on Sunday January 22, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 11, 1943 in Brownwood Texas to Elwood & Elsie Potter. She was a long time resident of Glastonbury where she held a very successful career in banking. She also served as a volunteer EMT on the ambulance. She proudly went on to earn her AS at MCC. Rosemary went on further to pursue a career in hairdressing graduating from the CT Institute of Hair Design. She became the owner of Victorian Rose Salon in Glastonbury before selling to become a teacher of cosmetology. Her greatest passions in life were serving the Lord, her children & grandchildren. She was also a deacon at her church and loved singing in the choir with the voice of an angel. Rosemary leaves to mourn her four daughters Valorie & Brian Rykowski of Glastonbury, Angela Mello & Chip Lemke Jr. of East Hartford, Lynne Pelletier & Skip Bowman of Woodstock, and Bonnie & James Burleigh of Lebanon. two brothers Richard & Polly Potter, Ralph & Dee Potter, three sisters Lanelle & Ray Crum, Saundra & Wanda and a sister-in-law Judy Potter all of Texas. She also has 11 beautiful grandchildren, 1 great-grand child and her faithful poodle Cupcake all whom she adored greatly. She was predeceased by her brother Curtis Potter. The family would like to offer a special thanks to all the staff on CB2 at HH hospital especially Susan Smith who she trusted & loved. Funeral service will be Friday, January 27, at 10am in the Goshen Congregational Church,157 Church St., Lebanon. Burial will follow in Goshen Hill Cemetery, Lebanon. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Thursday, Jan. 26, from 4-7pm.
