Obituary of Olga Curtis

Olga H. Curtis, 95, of Glastonbury, the wife of the late Howard Curtis died Tuesday (January 4, 2011) at Salmon Brook Center, Glastonbury. Born the daughter of the late Dimitre and Anna Kowalsky, Olga was a lifelong resident of Glastonbury, living the last four years with her daughter, Peggy. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and had a great love for children. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Howard P. and Beryl Curtis, of Tarpon Springs FL, her daughter and son in law, Peggy and Mike Procaccini, of East Hartford, her five grandchildren, Doreen, Donna, Jonathan, Ellen, and Melissa, her seven great grandchildren, Jimmy, Tracey, Nicole, Brian, Ryan, Erin, and Kailey, her great great grandson, Camden and her brother, George Kowalsky of Glastonbury. She is predeceased by her sisters, Katherine Shelski, Mary "Mae" Pagani, Nellie Rival, and her three brothers, John, Andrew, and William Kowalsky. Olga's family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Salmon Brook and hospice for all their care and support. Funeral service will be held in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Green Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 2 - 4 pm.
