Obituary of Richard Cote

Richard R. Cote, 63, of Glastonbury the beloved husband of June (Allard) Cote died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Hartford, the son of the late Albert J. and Margaret (Brocious) Cote and he lived in Glastonbury for over 30 years. Rick retired from The Hartford Insurance Group as an Officer in Manpower and Budget Planning. In good weather he could be found working in the yard or sitting on the porch with his beloved best friend, Josh. He loved to travel and looked forward to his yearly vacation to Seawatch in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Along with his wife he is survived by two sons, Scott A. Cote of Tampa, FL and Mark A. Cote and his wife Megan of Pleasant Prairie, WI, two grandchildren, Parker and Carson Cote, his sister and brother in law, JoAnn M. and Michael Plaszewski of Hebron, his brother in law and sister in law, Myron and Bernadette Rugar of Rocky Hill, several nieces, a nephew, and several cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday March 1, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Dunstan Church, Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury.
