Joan loved to swim and enjoyed her weekly swim classes at the Glastonbury Wellness Center. She also loved to travel, go shopping, and antiquing. What she loved most however was to spend time with her family and her numerous friends. Joan is survived by her children, George E. Hopkins of Austin, TX and Jane C. Hopkins of South Glastonbury, CT; a brother Richard G. Temple and his wife Nancy Temple, niece, Meg Temple, nephew Rick Temple and his wife Susanne, numerous cousins and many beloved friends.
