Obituary of Phyllis Krawshuk

Phyllis J. (Monroe) Krawshuk, 68, of Cromwell, wife of the late George Krawshuk, died Friday July 29, 2011 at Hartford Hospital. Born October 11, 1942 in Willimantic, daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Brooke) Monroe, she had lived in Cromwell for the past 23 years. Phyllis truly loved animals especially horses. She is survived by 2 daughters Alycia M. Tepley and Jacquelyn S. Tepley both of Middletown, a son John W. Tepley of Marlborough, a sister Susan L. Monroe of Storrs, 2 grandchildren Sallie Jo Blaney and Allison E. Tepley and a close knit group of girl friends that helped her during her illness. She was predeceased by a daughter Coreen E. Tepley and 2 brothers William J. Monroe and Donald R. Monroe. A memorial service will be celebrated on Wednesday Aug. 3, at 11am in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday Aug. 2 from 6-8pm.
