Obituary of Segundo Vigil

Segundo P. Vigil, 76, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Dionicia (Arteaga) Vigil,, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 12, 2012 at Hartford Hospital surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren. He was born July 2, 1935 in Chiclayo, Peru. Besides his loving wife of many years, he is survived by his 6 daughters; Ruth, Sylvia, Marie, Glory, Gladys and Marlene and 2 sons, Joe and William. He also leaves a son in Peru, Guillermo. He also leaves a son-in-law Bruce and 2 daughters-in-law Yvette and Mary and 15 grandchildren. Segundo worked for Sims Metal Management Aerospace, Inc. in Hartford for 35 years. He was a hardworking, dedicated and loyal man, always giving to others. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating his life will be held on Friday, March 16 at 10am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Burial will be private. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury, Wednesday March 14, 2012 from 6-8pm.
