Obituary of David C. Miles

David C. Miles, 74, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Mary Ellen (Knight) Miles, died Saturday April 25, 2015 at Hartford Hospital. Born January 6, 1941 in Buffalo, NY, son of the late John and Rose (Bernadine) Miles, he had lived in Glastonbury for the past 40 years. He retired as Director of Graphic Services at Mass Mutual and worked for Hedges & Hedges Copy in Wethersfield. He was an active member of the Crossroads Community Cathedral in East Hartford. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter Jennifer Nicol and her husband Marc of Marlborough and 2 grandchildren Kaitlin and Garrett Nicol, and a son Gregory Miles of Boston. “Papa’s” greatest joy was his grandchildren. The family would like to thank his special doctors and the doctors and nurses at Hartford Hospital, who were all so kind. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Tuesday April 28 from 5-8pm. Burial will be private.
