I recently learned of Chris' passing. I first met Chris in 1970 when I transferred to the Hartford office of Haskins& Sells. I remember Chris as a consummate and hard working professional. A man with a sense of humor who was kind to everyone he came in contact with.
My sincere condolence to his family.

My deepest condolences for the loss of your husband. I know how difficult it is to lose a mate. Rest assured that God will remember our dead loved ones and bring them back to earth to enjoy life forever. Jo 5:28,29 and Ps 37:11,29.
Soon God will wipe away all tears and death and pain will be no more. Rev 21:3,4.
May you find comfort in these promises and in the memories you cherish.

Condolences to Chris's family on the passing of such a great man. I worked with Chris over the past 10+ years and he was one of a kind. He was truly committed to his profession, not only doing his job, but also passing his knowledge along to those he worked with. He was also a hoot to work with! Chris did things the right way and never missed an opportunity to talk lovingly about his family. He will truly be missed and remembered fondly.

Dear Elaine, Greg and Jenny,
I am truly sorry for your lost. I always loved being with Chris, he was a wonderful man and enough great things can not be said when it came to him. I was shocked and dismayed when Kelly told me about his condition and have been praying he would endure and beat this but sometimes God has other plans as we all know. All I can tell you is that time doesn't always heal but makes remembering the times with him easier, he is still with you so talk to him often because it does help and I am a firm believer he is still and always will be watching over you all.
all my love and prayers are with you all
Cherie

Condolence to the family of Chris Wolf. Chris was a good friend during our Northwest years. Even at our reunions he always looked the same. Never had to read his name badge to know who he was. Grateful to see him last year. It is difficult to lose a loved one but remember darkness can not remain where the light of heaven falls. Chris will be missed. We were all blessed to know him. Rest in peace Chris, you are home now. Your friend, Ken Cahill

Sincere condolences to the family and friends. Very sad to see a classmate pass over the bridge. Chris & I were classmates most of your years in school from Elmwood Elementary thru Northwest. In fact we rode the bus together for a couple of years until we got our first cars. If I remember correctly his was a green Corvair. From the photo it appears that he changed very little from 1965, Rest in Peace Chris.

Dear Elaine and family,
I had the honor of getting my first job out of college at Scully & Wolf and worked there for 6 years. Chris was a brilliant accountant and always made his employees feel appreciated. He worked so hard and the few times I stopped by the office on the weekend to big up workpapers, I would usually see him working in his corner office. We used to have annual staff meetings at the old Goodwin Hotel in Hartford and he always tried to have a good mix of hard work and fun. I also always looked forward to the Christmas parties where Chris would make the new people get up in front of the whole company and sing a holiday song. Sully & Wolf alumni are a tight bunch to this day and we all still keep in contact with one another, because it was more like a second family than it was just a place of work. He will be greatly missed by many.

Dear Elaine and Family -- you are in our thoughts and prayers. Except for our brief chat at last year's reunion, it's been years since we last got together. But I think of Chris often, and all those thoughts and memories are happy ones. Our years at Northwest, our big trip to Florida with Brian and Jim, a year of commuting together to Winsted, and the occasional visits when we were all starting out in our adult lives. I'm thankful we had the chance to get together last year, and will always hold Chris in my memory and my heart as a dear friend. The world will miss his quick wit, kindness, generosity and dedication, but I hope you find peace and comfort in knowing that your loss is only temporary and that a Great Reunion awaits.

Dear Elaine and Family: Many years and much time has passed since we all were at NWCH but that infectious smile hasn't changed at all. I read something recently given your love of the water that talked about losing a loved one and it said basically when they leave this earth, the become a new star in the night sky shining for the one who will always be in your heart. The night sky and the stars are never brighter than on a calm night on the water...please accept my condolences and prayers..
