Ray and Ryan,
I was just heart sick when I read Nancy's obituary. She was one of may daughter Carleen's closest friends in their high school years. We always thought a lot of Nancy.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

So saddened to hear of the loss of Nancy. I worked with her for a number of years when she first joined Pediatric Gastroenterology while it was still at Hartford Hospital. Always a
hard worker, she thoroughly enjoyed caring for the children.
I am so sorry for your loss.
Fondly,
Barbara Sullivan CGRN

Nancy was our son's transplant nurse coordinator for the last nine years. We don't know what we would've done without her! Every call was returned promptly, with the cheery & helpful disposition of Nancy. She answered every question we had (and there were MANY!) and found the answer if she didn't know right away. Nancy was a part of one of the most difficult & precious events that ever happened to our family & we will never forget her kindness, wisdom, efficiency, & courtesy. It meant a great deal to us and always will. CCMC will never be the same without her! Thank you, Nancy. Our deepest sympathy to Nancy's family & friends.

I first met Nancy under very hard circumstances, as a mother of a new born baby with a liver disorder. Over the past few years she helped to calm me when my daughter was sick, became a warrior for my daughter when insurance coverage lagged, and brought comfort and warmth during troubling times. Nancy was a kind, loving, smart, woman, a gracious nurse, a powerful advocate, and just the best kind of person. My family is so sad to hear of her passing, and our heart go out to her family for the great loss they must endure. She made a difference in our lives, and that will stay with us always. Thank you Nancy for being such a wonderful, selfless person. Miss Pea and her family loves you.

Ray and all of Nancy Family:
There are no words that can truly express how sorry I am for your loss. Nancy was an amazing nurse/ co worker who would do anything for her patients. I remember working with her in GI and she showed me what true compassion looked like. She knew all of her transplant patients like the back of her hand and always made time to talk them even though she had a busy schedule. Nancy was an angel and she will be truly missed but she will never be forgotten.

Dear Ray, Ryan, Pat and all of Nancy's family,
I cannot express to you how sorry I am for your loss. Not only do we feel her loss as our co-worker and friend, but as a caring, compassionate nurse. The families that she has helped throughout her career are too many to count.
I hope that Nancy can look down and see all the beautiful oceans and lighthouses that she has always loved.
She will truly be missed by many.

Ray and Ryan, there is no way to express how sorry we are for your loss. We will never forget ALL Nancy did for Charlie and our family. She taught me how to care for my very sick boy and calmed me and showed me the way when I thought nothing or anyone could help. She spent hours on the phone with me and always had the right answers and the best advise. She touched our hearts in a way that can not be explained. There will NEVER be anyone like her again in our world. She will truly be missed. All our love, Ann & Charlie ❤️❤️

My deepest condolences to Ray and Ryan and family during this difficult time!!! I'm so sorry for your loss!!
I want you to know that Nancy instilled things in me that no other person ever did!!! I will do everything Nancy ever taught me to do!! She is my rock, my hero and will always be in my heart and my mind!!!
There's this amazing woman....she enters your life in a time of need! She guides you, shows you how to care for your very sick child with life threatening issues. She dots every "i" crosses every "t" and teaches you how to do the same! Everything she does, you remember and follow! You hear her voice in your head Everytime you touch that central line, gtube or med...she is there with you in your head, even if she isn't there in person!!! There are no words for that 1 amazing nurse you are blessed to get when you need it the most!!! A hug, a tear, a laugh (when she knows you need it) or just to vent.
This 1 amazing nurse will live within me FOREVER!!!!
Nancy will never be forgotten!! ❤
