Dear Family,
I can not think of my childhood without thinking of my aunts, uncles, and cousins. We spent nearly every Sunday afternoon together at one home or another I especially spent time withAunt Alice and family because Donna and I are the same age. Sometimes overnights. Donna and I would sneak into Mary's room ( she was 6 years older and a teen) and play her 45 rpm records. Every summer we had a big family reunion so we grew up knowing 1st thru 4th. Cousins well. That got divided as the families got larger-- Gallups, Burkes, Munroes -so a whole generation was growing up not knowing each other. It was Aunt Alice that said ,"not right" and insisted and persisted in getting reunions reinstituted. I so appreciated this!! Once again reconnected by our matriarch. We will miss her. We love you all.
