Obituary of Ronald S. Rubler

Ronald S. Rubler, 79, of Portland, beloved husband of the late Gail (Thompson) Rubler, died Friday, September 9, 2016 at Middlesex Hospital. He was born in Worcester, MA on September 19, 1936 to the late Joseph and Sally (Kuzokowski) Rubler. Ronald graduated from Tufts University in 1958, and worked for TWA for 30 years. He was a Lieutenant in the US Navy who piloted the P2V Neptune and served at the Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, FL. Ronald was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, as well as a compassionate and devoted friend. He is survived by his children: Mark Rubler of Amston, Kim Peterson and her husband, James, of FL, Sue Clark and her husband, Jay, of GA, Karen Jenkins and her husband, Gary, of GA, Joe Rubler and his wife, Laura, of NJ, Brett Rubler and his wife, Rosa, of NJ, his eleven grandchildren: Jessica, Stephanie, Sarah, Meghan, Alyssa, Matt, Brian, Carly, Mason, Bella, Jake, and his two great-grandchildren: Isiah and Asher. He is also survived by his sister, Janice Nelson of NC. A funeral service will be held Monday, September 12, 2016 at 11a.m. in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 10a.m. to 11a.m. prior to the service.
