Dear Linda and family members, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mother. While we were growing up, and spending a lot of time together, she was like a second mother to me. I will always remember her rhode island accent, her catching laugh and the great Italian dishes that she made. From a young person's perspective Muriel always seemed to be able to balance the tasks of work, home and fun, and remain positive throughout. Most of all, Muriel was a good friend to my mother and our family over the years and I will always treasure the good memories our families had together. May she rest in peace. All my love, Debbie

Muriel was my hero. She believed in me and helped me get my first job at Hartford National Bank. It's amazing what she did for my self esteem. I have been in the same business for 36 years because she pushed me to be the very best I could be. I will always remember her kind words. To her family, you must be so proud of her and blessed to have been part of her legacy.Her memory will be cherished in my heart forever.

Muriel was a great neighbor and friend to Suzanne & I. Last summer she invited us, along with my grandson to her summer home in RI ... which she loved. We had a great time went to the beach & later grabbed a bite to eat. My 7 year old grandson still remembers the trip. Muriel was delighted when my grandson said he "loved" her house. She always had a good sense of humor ... telling me "secretly" that she alone caused the stock market crash ... by virtue of just being born on that day !! She will be dearly missed by us.
