Obituary of Gail Stewartson Bessette

Gail (Stewartson) Bessette of Glastonbury, beloved wife for 60 years of Robert L. Bessette, died November 7, 2016 at Hartford Hospital. Born November 18, 1936 in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Leon M. and Evelyn (Simonds) Stewartson, she had lived in Glastonbury since 1961. Besides her husband, her memory will be cherished by her 3 children Robert S. Bessette of FL, Karen B. Armando and her husband Robb of South Glastonbury, Nicole L. Porter of East Hartford, and 6 adored grandchildren, Kayla, Kyler, Christopher, Kody, Tristan and Kory. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Dorothy Rankl of Glastonbury, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law Raymond and Janet Bessette of Simsbury and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Barbara Garrity and her husband William, and a brother-in-law Joseph Rankl. Funeral service will be private.
