Obituary of Janet Mulcahy Frazier
Janet M. Frazier, 90, formerly of Glastonbury, CT passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 10th following a long illness. Born on May 20, 1926 in Mount Vernon, New York, Janet was the youngest child of William and Clara (Forst) Mulcahy. She grew up in Mount Vernon and Yonkers, New York before moving to Old Saybrook, CT. A graduate of Endicott College, she worked as a business representative for the New York Telephone Company. Jan married G. Neil Frazier in 1960 and they spent 52 loving years together prior to his passing in 2012. Jan and Neil shared a fondness for vacationing in Bermuda and Ogunquit, Maine. They also enjoyed the many winters they spent in Naples, Florida. Jan was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and mother. She especially loved being a grandmother and great- grandmother. During her life Jan shared many lasting friendships which she treasured. Jan is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Simonetti and her husband Michael of Ormond Beach, Florida , Robin Pietrick and her husband Jack of Avon; granddaughters Jenna Gray and her husband William, Jill Lawson and her husband Joshua, great -grandsons Andrew and Evan Gray and Caleb Lawson. She is also survived by her stepson, David Frazier and his partner Betsy Lytle , her stepdaughter, Christine Roudebush and her husband Wilfred : grandchildren Jennifer Crawford, Sarah Pulshen, Matthew Roudebush, and Kelly Roudebush: great- grandchildren Jackson Crawford and Grant and Ellis Pulshen. Jan is also survived by her nephew Russell Mulcahy, who remained very close to her throughout her life, and her niece Barbara Pellish. Besides her husband Neil, Jan was predeceased by her two brothers, Russell Mulcahy and Douglas Mulcahy. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 14th at 10:30 a.m. in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury, CT. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Middletown.
