Obituary of Clifford H. Eccleston
Clifford H. Eccleston “Snuffy”, 96, of Glastonbury, husband of the late Angelnia (Quagliaroli) Eccleston, died Thursday November 10, 2016 at Hartford Hospital. Born March 15, 1920 in Glastonbury, son of the late Clifford D. and Coras (Lingner) Eccleston he was a lifelong resident. Prior to his retirement in 1976 he was a Foreman at Hamilton Standard for 40 years. Snuffy was a member of the Army-Navy Club in Manchester, a charter member of the Glastonbury Elks and a member of the Glastonbury Fire Department, Company 3. He had served in the US Army during World War II. He is survived by his step son Robert T. Kerr, Jr. and his wife Annemarie of East Hartford, 4 grandchildren, Amber Radkovich and her husband Steve, Brandi Kerr, Lynn Oeschger and Dustin Kerr and his fiancée Amy Macintosh, 8 great grandchildren, Austin and Carson Radkovich, Sam and Mallory Oeschger, Kameron McBride, Jordan, Jaxson and Kason Foley. He is also survived by a sister Elizabeth Robinson of NH, 2 nephews John Viglione of Watertown, Arthur Leknes and a niece Catherine Argilagos. He was predeceased by a sister-in-law Yolanda Viglione and a brother-in-law Albert Quagliaroli. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday Nov. 15 at 10am in St. Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Rd., South Glastonbury. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Monday Nov. 14 from 5-7pm.
