Obituary of Evelyn Carreira Rodrigues

Evelyn (Carreira) Rodrigues, 88, of East Hartford, formerly of Glastonbury, wife of Jose Rodrigues, died Wednesday December 28, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Muncie, IN. Born September 16, 1928 in Hartford, CT. daughter of the late Manuel and Minavina Carreira, she had lived in Glastonbury for 30 years and East Hartford for 30 years moving to Muncie, IN a short while ago. Besides her husband she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law David and Diane Rodrigues of Wethersfield, a daughter and son-in-law Deborah and James Behrendt of Muncie, IN, a brother George Carreira of Lebanon, 4 grandchildren and their spouses Josh and Melanie Rodrigues, Kate Rodrigues, Christina and Brandon Thacker, Michael and Audrey Behrendt and 9 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson Derek Rodrigues and a brother Frank Carreira. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Wednesday Jan. 4 from 5-7pm. A service will be held Thursday Jan. 5 at 11am in the mausoleum in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury.
