Obituary of Susanne M. Weir

Susanne M. Weir, 58, of East Glastonbury, died Tuesday February 21, 2017 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Born November 4, 1958 in Manchester, daughter of the late Ernest N. and Joan (Hellstrom) Weir, she was a lifelong resident of East Glastonbury. Prior to her retirement she was a machinist for Quailty Name Plate and Glastonbury Gage. Suzanne is survived by her six brothers and their wives, Leverett and Lynn Weir of Hebron, Ernest Weir and Lance Weir both of East Glastonbury, Edmund and Lee Weir and Dale and Ann Marie Weir all of Glastonbury, John and Becky Weir of East Hampton, a brother-in-law Charles “Biff” Finocche of Glastonbury, her aunts and uncles Ruby Palazzi of East Glastonbury, Diane Lingner of Marlborough, Ted and Beverly Hellstrom of East Hampton, Rob and Ginny Hellstrom of Columbia and Donna Claus of FL., and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Laura Finocche and her aunts and uncles Paul and Dot Aceto, Elizabeth Weir, Joe Palazzi, Rick Hellstrom and Carol O’Brien. Funeral service will be Saturday Feb. 25 at 11am in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Neipsic Cemetery.
