Tina's passing (in February) was unknown to us 'til yesterday's COURANT. It came as a shock because we were unaware of her illness, having had no contact with her for more than a year. Our paths didn't cross when both she and we wintered in Florida, and our back-home Connecticut activities never seemed to mesh for get-togethers. Thus, we missed visiting, chatting, and enjoying her vibrant company for far too long.
Tina (and Blaine!) were among the most intelligent people we ever knew. Every conversation proved that. And... she was so devoted to memories of Blaine that it was the most convincing argument one could make for the institution of Marriage. What a wonderful couple!
Our fond thoughts of her will always be combined with equally fond recollections of Blaine.
We didn't often agree with them politically, but loved them both for who they were.
