We am so sorry to hear the sad news. We absolutely loved talking to Robert at trivia. Even though at the end of the night he consistently was beating our team. Never met a more gracious winner and nicer man. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Demo and Amanda

Dear family, you have my heartfelt condolences. The bible gives us hope that one day we will be able to see our lost loved ones again. "There is going to be a resurrection."- Acts 24:15. God has resurrected humans in the past. John 11:39-44. God is eager to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live on earth again.-Job 14:14,15. These scriptures here may not completely take away your grief but by meditating on God's promises found in the bible you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. With caring thoughts.

To the Mount family,
I would like to express my sincere condolences, and my prayers are with you.
I played Little League baseball with Robert on the team coached by his father some 40+ years ago. It is for this reason this news touches me deeply. While I did not know Robert well, he was always a very kind-hearted and happy person. I remember the passion and enthusiasm he brought to the game, and his strong desire to contribute. My time on the team with Robert will always be treasured.
While it was only for one season many years ago, our contributions and efforts at the time may seem insignificant and unnoticed. I will always appreciate the sacrifices Mr. Mount made teaching me to play baseball and giving me the opportunity to play the game I loved so much as a young man.

We met Rob several years ago while playing trivia and eventually became teammates. Rob was a rock star when it came to trivia. He knew so many things about so many subjects and was always eager to learn more. Rob was smart, funny, generous and one of the nicest people we have ever met. In the short time we knew him he deeply touched our lives and our hearts. We have lost a great friend and we will miss him. Our hearts go out to his entire family.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I met Robert in elementary school in Glastonbury. We bonded over our love for our grandmothers, who were good friends. Robert was a kind person and always smiling. He helped me quite a few times keep my junky cars running when he worked at Texaco.
I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. - Grace Mott Mason
