Our hearts go out to you for the loss of Lil. She was a sweetheart! Kept me well fed on my visits to their house (always timed for lunch hour)! I knew Don from 1935 and Lil 1954 and if memory serves me (questionable at 96) my deceased wife, Edna, got her her first job in Ct. The last two years we talked on the phone 2 or 3 times a year and always told me she was aging but okay. So it was quite a shock to see her name in the obit, in fact my first reaction was that it's very strange that there are more than one Lillian Donovans in Glastonbury. To my dismay there wasn't. Lil will be missed by all.
Fondly,
Hank & Bobby

My deepest sympathies and heartfelt wishes go out to the family of Lillian. She was a beautiful person and I was so fortunate to know her for the brief time that I did. She was a generous and loving neighbor and a supportive and caring friend who always welcomed me with a bright smile and a positive greeting. I will miss her and I cherish the friendship we had. Love and prayers to all.

Lil was a special lady. We all enjoyed Lil, esp at bridge table. What a super player. We often repeat some of her advice when we play. I regret I hadn't seen her lately, life gets too busy sometimes. I also think of her advice on exercise, dancing! I have lots of good memories of Lil.

We feel deeply for you at this time, but take heart in knowing that her bright outlook and sincere interest in the well-being of others has not been extinguished -- it lives on in her children and grandchildren.
Peace be with you in this difficult time.

My sincere condolence for your loss.
There is a beautiful hope at Jo 5:28,29 where God will remember our dead loved ones and will bring them back to life on earth so they can enjoy living forever. Ps 37:11,29.
Soon God will wipe away all tears of sorrow and death and pain will be no more.
Rev 21:3,4.
May these promises bring you comfort.

I met Lill only a couple of times briefly over the years but had the pleasure of knowing her daughter Jamie, and family for over 35 years. You don't receive that kind of respect and love without earning it. She left behind a great legacy with Craig,Katie,Jamie and Jessie. Job well done Lill! You were truly loved...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Joe and I got to know Lillian and Don when they came to Canada to visit her sister Isabel who lived behind us. I remember picking berries with her and also remember having Lil, Grace, Rita and Betty for lunch on a beautiful sunny day. She will be missed.
