Obituary of Eva Smyk

Eva "Dolly" T. (Stenger) Smyk, of Glastonbury, passed peacefully at home into eternal life on Friday, Oct. 21, 2011. She was born in Granby May 10, 1923 to Stephen and Anna Stenger. She leaves behind three daughters, Paulette M. Caputo of Hebron, Wendy A. Smyk of East Hartford, and Terri K. Smith of Glastonbury, six grandchildren, Jodi King, Kelli Caputo, Tammie Caputo, Mark Mahoney, Marcie Trahan and Jason Smith, five great grandchildren Bryan Valenti, Mathew Valenti, Kelby Mahoney, Hayden Trahan, Julian Smith-Bergeron, a sister Gertrude Waterman of Agawam, MA and a beloved sister in law Viola K. Stenger of Glastonbury and many niece and nephews. She was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, Oct. 24, 2011at the Mulryan Funeral Home 725 Hebron Ave Glastonbury. Family and friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service from 10-11 am. Burial will follow in St John's Ukrainian Cemetery, Glastonbury.
