Dearest Uncle Joe
This is a very sad moment for Manel, Zé and especially for me.
I know you had lived a long life, and that we knew your departure was getting closer, but although expected I was not really prepared to see you go.
Deep down, I was always hoping, that we could see each other again.
That didn’t happen.
I hope we will see each other when my time comes…
I would like to thank you, for everything you did for all our family.
Although you weren´t the eldest brother of the Rodrigues Family, but you were the true root of our family.
You always took care of all of us, and gave everybody a chance that we all had a better life than you did when you lived in our country.
You were a brave and strong man.
And even under that tough look, and your hard way to talk, we knew that you had a great and wonderful heart.
Words are not enough.
Thank you for everything you did for our family.
I am sure you will rest in peace, and will be by our aunt Evelyn side.
I will never forget you. I will miss you very much Uncle Joe.
