Kathy started her career with the Hartford Police dept. shortly after I did in November 1980. She was a quick learner - friendly, with a fun sense of humor, and a smile that lit up the room (and it was often needed). We became close friends and spent many years together at the Department. I offer my prayers and sympathy to Kim, Bruce and the Tischofer family at their loss. We have all lost a valuable friend and a genuinely kind person. Rest In Peace my friend Kathy. You will be missed.
