Tim was a phenomenal member and friend to us at Memorial United Methodist church for over 12 years, along with his wife Pat. I had the pleasure of serving with them on our Board of Trustees- Pat was trustee secretary, and they provided tireless hands-on care of the church property including: opening & closing on Sundays, garden maintenance & snow shoveling, plus countless more tasks! They lived almost next door so were the ones who we could rely on to get there when needs arose. Tim served as a tremendously inspiring lay preacher who gifted us with such educational sermons during pulpit absence. Tim's last message to us on 7/30/17 was most meaningful as a look at our congregation upholding the virtues of Hope, Honor & Compassion. His audio recording can be listened to from our website: www.avonunitedmethodist.com/sermons. Hearing his voice brings joyful tears to my eyes.
Personally, I will cherish the fabulous privilege to visit Ireland with my (also deceased) girlfriend Cheryl, where we met up with Tim & Pat for dinner in Killarney. Tim recently so generously invited me & my partner to a guided tour of his homeland this June, which we will now not be able to experience with him. I will especially miss his positive phone calls & texts to update his sincere plans to get back on track with expected worship and social dining out with us friends. He never gave up the hope.
Tim will be in the hall of fame for supreme dedicated care for his beloved wife Pat. For so many years he provided unending devotion beyond most human capacity. I know she will always feel that love he gave her. We can't even imagine all he did and the commitment involved.
GOD BLESS YOU Tim O'Sullivan. I love you dearly and already miss you so. See you in our Kingdom in a few years. Peace - Linda Kime, friend
