To our old friends and neighbors, the Carangelo family:
We were shocked and saddened to learn of Jere's passing, and are so sorry to have missed the services. Jere was always a kind and gentle young man; we have such fond memories of living next door to him and to all of you. It doesn't seem possible that it was so long ago when we would see Jere shooting hoops and even humoring me (Jen) by playing a game of 21 with me now and again. May you all find comfort in your memories, faith and the strength of one another. We'd like to think Jere and Dinty are catching up right about now... You are in our thoughts and prayers. Rest easy, Jere.

My dear Natalie there are no words that one can say with the loss of the one you love. My heart goes out to you and Jere's family. I always remember our times together at Saint Francis. He will always be in my heart as one of the most kind men I have ever met. We were the lucky ones to have been blessed to know him. May you rest in peace and no pain my dear Jere you will be missed. My love to you and I will try to get there tomorrow. With all my love my dear friend.

I am very sorry to hear of Jere's passing. My deepest sympathy to Natalie, Jay, Janie, Jill and Jimmy. Jere was a great partner, brother, uncle and friend. I am very fortunate to be included as a member of the extended Carangelo family ever since my brother Bob married Jill all those years ago. Spending Thanksgivings in Greenwich and more recently on my visits from Alaska, Jere was always kind and had something witty to say about my Alaska adventures. I had a great time last July in Florida with Jere and Natalie while staying with them when I attended my niece Amanda's wedding.
When God calls us, we have to go, even if our time here was to short. Jere will always watch over his loved ones and will be remembered with love and happiness.

I had the distinct privilege and honor of working for Jere at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center early in my Finance career. He was a great mentor and made the work environment fun with his sense of humor -- a great man gone too soon. May he rest in paradise and may God comfort and keep his family.
