Sue I’m sorry to hear of Steve’s passing, someone told me but life was hectic at the time.
I fondly remember Steve from our USO Edit days. He mentored me through some tough situations during that project, he made me a better programmer. I also vaguely remember teasing you when the two of you became a couple.
I hope you find solace in these postings, Steve was a good friend at the time, he will be missed!
My deepest sympathies.
Ted

Susan I just heard about Steve's passing. My sympathy to you and to his family. He was my first project leader and I learned a great deal from him. Back in the 70's in CRB working on the USO Edit with you and Steve I have fond memories. Time has passed and my memories have faded but I still remember the time we celebrated a cutover too early and the system hung that night and you and I had to come in after celebrating. Again please accept my condolences. Steve will be missed.

Dave and I were deeply saddened on hearing the news of Steve's illness and struggle. Our hearts go out to Sue, our cousins, and those whose lives he touched.
The very first memory that came to mind was his concern over my intended plan for after high school graduation. Apparently, my mom called him to talk me out of signing up for the Navy. He must have done a super job as my focus and future plans changed drastically. I am so thankful for his love and concern then and his continued interest in my life he'd always shown.

Sue I am so sorry to hear about Steve’s struggle and passing. I have such fond memories of working with him. I actually remember the day that I realized you were a couple. We were doing performance reviews in a conference room and when your name came up he said “I can’t be objective. I’m going to leave the room, come get me when you get to the next person.” It was crazily romantic and although this was close to 40 years ago I never forgot the day I found out you were in love. I lost my own husband after a long illness so I know a little bit about what you are going through. My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.
