Saying "Hi Bob" and talking with Bob as he walked around our circle is a vivid memory.
Bob always had a smile and enjoyed talking with his neighbors. We remember
his good days when he golfed. Gradually his activities changed but he remained
the same gentleman he always was. Our deepest sympathy to you, Virginia.

Dear Mrs. Shepard and Family, I regret I am not able to attend the calling hours but wanted you all to know how deeply sorry I am at Robert's passing. Bob, Jack Patrick and I all attended the University of Bridgeport together and do I have memories of Bob. With his Cigars and attitude. He was so much more mature then most of the rest of us. One fond momory was in newborn care. I can recall Bob holding these tiny babies as if they would break. They made him very uncomfortable.I can close my eyes and see him in his whites looking more like a physican than student nurse with these infants in his care. He had such a dry sense of humor as well.I know that we shared fond memories whenever I saw him at association meetings as I too ended up in the long term care field. My thoughts are with you all. The happy memories of working for a family so full of caring and compassion always has, still does, and always will be a source of great comfort and inspiration. Thank-you for that. Love, Judy
