Gloria and Dana Dearborn posted a condolence

To Dan's family, Growing up next door to the King family was probably the best thing that could have happened. You were my second family and introduced me to the Presbyterian Church. Dan was another older brother that I really admired. I was kind of jealous when he started dating Susan, but she was too nice to dislike. Having lost my brother Gene at such a young age really makes a person stop and realize how precious life is and how often we need to tell each other how much we care for one another. To Kathy, Susie and Patrick, and Susan and family, know that you will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Please stay in contact when you have time and let me know how you are doing. You were all so special to me and the memories will never die. In loving prayers and sympathy, Gloria and Dana Dearborn

Susan, Kathy, Susie, Patrick, and Family,
I have so many fond memories of Danny and his family. Danny was a few (4) years ahead of me in school. At the Marquette Heights Community Presbyterian Church (later changing its name to the United Presbyterian Church)I looked up to him as a leader and as a "really cool guy." It seems he had his smile on most of the time. His mother, dad, sisters and brother were an integral part of the small community church.Dan and his family were fun- very fun, upbeat, smart and had a really wonderful sense of humor.
I am so glad to read about his time to travel and enjoy friends and family before he passed.
May you feel the presence of Him who is THE GREAT COMFORTER, the Great Counselor and the True Light of the world. With much sympathy and love to each of you, Jim Burdette
