Ron was my colleague at UTRC for a long time and a dear friend and neighbor during all those wonderful years. Ron and I sometimes carpooled to UTRC. He was very knowledgeable in his field of Thermodynamics and took pride in teaching students at Yale and we used to talk about it often. When I retired and joined a Technology Consulting firm in the area, the CEO there asked me to form a group of experts aerospace to serve as an advisory group. I requested Ron to join the group which consisted four other mutual friends from UTRC and we unhesitatingly called it The Sage Group. We met once a month and had a lot of fun discussing future technologies. We joked as we drove together, and one time when each of us were commenting about aches and pains in different parts of our body, and as this went on and on, Ron looked at me and said: Sheenu, let's stop this "Organ Recital!" We laughed and did so.
Kamla and I have known Ruth and Ron since the mid-70s and recall enjoying one of those boat rides with them on the Connecticut river. I will miss him dearly.
