I knew Ken through his photo blog. He was a great guy and knew lots of things about nature and educated people about what he knew. He was very curious about his world. He will be missed.

I found out the sad news from my blog friend Eileen. I knew Ken's blog and his love of nature, especially birds, and I loved his great photos. It was comforting to read that he apparently had a fulfilling life surrounded by a large family. We will miss him.
My condolences to Ken's family and friends,
Traude (from Austria)

To the Schneider and Orama family. My deepest sympathies to you all. Ken was a wonderful man, a loving husband, and an attentive parent and grandparent. He was one of best, kindest and most generous people I have ever met. He will be missed and he will always be remembered. May he rest in eternal peace. The world lost an extraordinary soul but Heaven gained an All-star.
