I am so shocked and saddened to hear of John's passing. I worked with him at Travelers for many years. He was such a nice man. He was an avid bike rider and I remember he always rode his bike to work. My condolences to his children and family.

I am so sorry to learn of John's passing. Our sincerest condolences to his children and grandchildren. John was a good and kind person and a good friend at the office and on our bicycles. We talked about him coming up to Schroon for a visit after Suzanne had passed, but it never came to pass. I believe that they are once again together in a better place. I will miss you friend. Rest in peace, Bill Tribou, Schroon Lake, NY

I worked with John from 1990-93 at Travelers, which was my first claims job. I learned a lot from him—he was smart, thoughtful, and a wonderful colleague. I’m so sorry to hear that he has passed.

I worked for 40 years as in house counsel for Koppers/Beazer East. I had the privilege of working with John - sometimes on opposite sides of our companies’ issues. John was the consummate gentleman - even in those times. He was ALWAYS so very kind to me and we were able to work together to solve issues and evaluate difficult lawsuits. He always listened very thoughtfully and was often able to bring clarity in difficult situations. Please accept my most sincere condolences on John’s passing. He truly was a wonderful man.
