I worked with Robert at Route 87. He was a special man. He enjoyed seeing me come into work and we enjoyed baking things together. He was saddened when I retired in March, but we still kept in contact. Of course we were both avid Red Sox fans. Bless you all.

So sorry to hear of Uncle Bob's passing. He was a great guy with a contagious smile. It was hard to not be happy around Bob. He will be missed.

We will miss and always love Uncle Bob. He was our own "Bob Steele" and "Mr. Christmas" We enjoyed the music he shared with us on tapes with his own announcements and personal greetings. We played these on bus tours and got notices of our passengers enjoyment of his "playlists". Alice's kids gave him a Santa suit and watching him enter the room decked out as Mr. Christmas, and looking into his eyes and detecting that he thought he might have us fooled about his identity was priceless joy. We love you Uncle Bob

I loved Robert's gentleness, and his great sense of humor. He has been missed as Connecticut's oldest altar server, and he will be missed still.
