Obituary of Robert Brennan

Robert Matthew Brennan, 76, of Columbia, died Tuesday October 15, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Matthew E. Brenna, Jr. and Alice Hoey Brennan. He grew up in Litchfield and lived many years in Glastonbury. He is survived by his sisters; Justine M. Brennan, Alice A. Brennan and Mary Jo Descy, and seven nieces and nephews. For 25 years he was an altar server at St. Paul Church in Glastonbury and referred to himself as "the oldest altar boy in Connecticut". A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday Oct. 19 at 10am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery, Litchfield.
