Matt was my supervisor. I retired at the end of 2013 and just heard today of his passing. Everyone is in agreement that he lived a life of integrity. He was known to all as a kind and gentle man. That is a legacy he leaves to his children. My condolences to his family. Albert dosSantos

Dad, you are the best role model a son can ask for. Your care for our family is unparalleled. You are simply the most genuine person I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I know you will always be proud of me, and I promise you that I will continue to make you and Mom proud for the rest of my life. Watch over me, protect me and guide me as you did in life. My love for you is boundless, Dad, I love you with all my heart.

Dear Jackie, Kevin and Melissa, Our hearts go out to you as we just heard about the loss of Matt. We were not aware that he had been sick and were shocked to learn of his passing. Mike and I spent many Saturdays sitting with Matt on the sidelines as Jackie coached soccer games. Matt was a warm and loving man and he will truly be missed.

I've worked with Matt for many years as his account manager at PHH Arval who handles the fleet for the Hartford. He was a man of great integrity and focused work ethic. He spoke highly of his family and was very proud of his children - I felt like I knew them. It brought me great sadness to hear of his passing, but I know he's at peace and watching over those he loved the most. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
