I will always remember Barbara's gentleness, kindness, and sense of humor. Her family was her greatest joy and her devotion was a testament to that. She shared many "books and reading" stories with me, something I will always treasure.

Frank, Frankie and Anna, Jamie and I are so sorry for your loss. Our families go back 50 years when you were new to the neighborhood and our children built memories together. We all remember "Cow Country" with great fondness. Barbara will be missed and we wish her God Speed on her journey.

Our hearts go out to you all. Frank and Barbara were always together it seemed. We have not seen them (or you) in years, but Barbara was part of the old neighborhood that we loved. The kids' Cow Country antics was such fun. Our best, Tom & Joan Kemble

I am so very grateful to have had such a caring, beautiful, strong, generous, honest, loving and funny mother for all these years. Mom, you loved all of us so much and I will carry your love with me.

She was my mother and my best friend, for 59 years. I am so grateful for all the time I had with her. She was an amazing human being.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Barb's family. I remember well the first time I met Barbara in the late 70's at your family home Glastonbury. She was always so delightful! As the years went by I loved hearing about her every time Anna and I visited. She leaves quite of legacy of wonderful children and grandchildren. My sincere condolences to your entire family.

dear anna and frank-so very sorry to hear about your mom. one of the "old guard" of the neighborhood, along with your dad. i always saw them together, so sweet, and enjoyed running into them around town, the library, the ukulele events. always so calm and pleasant. your mom was such a nice lady, and funny! i didn't realize that as a kid-only came to know it later. i wish the best to you all, going through this.
