Obituary of Pauline Milich
Pauline "Deanie" (Chesnut) Milich, 85, of Glastonbury, beloved wife of Joseph Milich for 62 years, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010 at the Newington Home and Healthcare Alzheimer's unit. Born March 8, 1925 in Plattsburg, NY, daughter of the late Herschel and Bertha (Therrien) Chesnut, she had lived in Glastonbury since 1963. Deanie was a former member of the Republican Women's Club, the Glastonbury Piecemakers, and the Portland Quilt Guild. She was a communicant of St. Augustine Church, member of the Altar Guild and was a Lector with the church. She was a member of the Glastonbury Hills Country Club, and the Glastonbury Historical Society. She was a life long quilter, crafter, loved to garden and play bridge. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons John Milich of West Haven, CT, Robert Milich of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, two daughters Helen Pearly and her husband Roger of Bridgewater, NJ, Sandra Milich of Alexandria, VA, three grandchildren Gregory Pearly and his wife Tamara, Brian Pearly, Lisa Pearly, great grandson Sammy Pearly and cousins Sister June Baker, Edna Boyd, Richard Therrien and Jerry Chesnut. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 29,at 10am in St. Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Rd., South Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Green Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Sunday, Nov. 28 from 2-4 & 7-9pm.
