Wes, I am so saddened for you at the loss of your wife. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I too am a cat lover and find such comfort in my little rescue cat Callie. These losses are huge and take so long to deal with. Be well and take care of yourself.

Whether Mrs. Vasko was in her car driving or at Center Road School, she would always take a moment to say hello to me and my dad, everyday.
Rest in Peace Mrs. Vasko, you will be missed.

I knew Mrs. Vasko from Center Road School. She monitored our lunch waves when I was in Center Road. I was 10 going on 11 years old. I am now 12 years old. Mrs, Vasko was super nice and had a warm and passionate way to discipline the kids that needed controlling. This made lunch better for the students that just wanted to eat and have no drama.
Personally for me, it made a differnce in my life for a teacher to say hello to me and know my name. Everyday she took the time to say to me "how are you today, Emma?" I looked forward to her being there everyday and knowing that she was there just made me feel good.
I will remember her for always having something nice to say and smiling at everyone. I am very sad to hear of this news. I know she is in heaven watching all of us and that is comforting to me.
I am very sorry for your loss. Her passing is a loss for many of us.

My deepest sympathies to Wes and family. Nancy will be greatly missed for the kind, thoughtful, person that she was. Nancy had a lovely way with children as so many at Center Rd School witnessed. I will always remember the way she made everyone she encountered feel special.
All that knew Nancy were so saddened by the difficult end to her life. May you rest in peace Nancy.

I worked with Nance at school for the last 8 years. My children attended Center Road School and worked with her over the years, as well. She always greeted us with a smile. Once we discovered our shared love of cats, I referred to her as my "cat-lady" friend. We enjoyed putting kitty pictures and articles in each other's mailboxes. When one of my cats got sick, she was so helpful and offered unending emotional support. I will never forget how much she reached out to me. She was truly a gift to the animals she cared for. I'm sure she is an angel, still taking care of and loving the animals...how lucky they are.....
