Obituary of Nancy Wright Vasko

Nancy (Wright) Vasko, 67, of Manchester, beloved wife of Wesley Vasko, died Tuesday April 28, 2015 at Manchester Hospital. Born December 18, 1947 in Hartford, daughter of the late Alton F. and Carolyn (Schmidt) Wright, she had lived in Manchester since 1980. Nancy was raised in Glastonbury, graduated from Glastonbury High School and attended Boston University. She was a teacher’s aid at the Center Road School in Vernon. Nancy loved animals and one of her greatest joys was saving Patches a rescue cat from Bolton Veterinary Hospital. Her family would like to thank the Vernon Hospice and the staff at the Manchester Memorial Hospital Hospice and Fenwood Manor for their care and compassion shown to them and Nancy during her illness. Besides her husband she is survived by her brother Jeffrey Wright and his wife Diane of Vernon, her nephew Bryan Wright and his wife Sara and their family of Tolland.
