We are so sad to receive news of your Dad's passing. Gratefully we were notified through the Quonnie electronic Newsletter. Your Dad was a true gentleman, always pleasant, ever friendly. Years ago he shared his carpentry talent with us by solving a problem in our newly purchased cottage...how to replace a tiny spiral staircase to the second floor. He did a beautiful job. We will miss his smiling face when we walk the beach.
May God bless the Robbins family especially in this time of loss.
Peace be with you,
The Maschio Family

Don and I talked at the end of the summer when he was cleaning out his cottage and preparing to move to Florida. We said goodbye and he added, "I'm through with Quonochontaug.".
Jan, my wife and I met Don and Judy, his first wife who was sick, at the same time we met Bill and Cass Sullivan very many years ago. Don became a good friend and I knew of some of his quiet and very kind assistance to the invalid and sick at the beach. Leaving behind the investment of so much time and effort in his life in Quonochontaug and its people was hard for me to believe.
But I was wrong and i'll miss our conversations, topics like old skiers skiing with their grandchildren while we drank Black and Tan ale. Don didn't make Florida but he left behind s life very well lived in Rhode Island---one that will be greatly missed.

I was saddened to see Don's obituary this morning. Don and I were acquainted at P&W. He was a good engineer and a good friend.

I remember your whole family in Blanford, MA. Len and my dad were partners with Joe Pizzitola @ Pizzitola Music Studios.
I remember seeing them play music many times. I am now 70 years old! I still direct The Valley Strummers Banjo Band founded by my dad after Joe died.
Both of my sons carry on the guitar and banjo music on a regular basis!
Very sorry for your loss.
